These miniature Spurgeon replica busts are almost exact replicas of the smallest of the original parian busts that were produced by Robinson & Leadbetter c.1878. Although they made several different sizes, these small busts are one of the most seldom seen of the variations. The benefit of the smaller busts compared to their larger companions is that they fit well on any bookshelves and are very comfortably displayed on an office desk, etc.—whereas the larger options would be quite large and bulky to display for most people.
These are cast from a custom mold of our original bust, made with a resin material base, and then left plain or finished with additional painting and processing to achieve various desired looks.
