Like other Spurgeon volumes, The Salt-Cellars is a collection of recorded items that Charles Spurgeon assembled over time for the use of pastors and laymen. Whereas some were of illustrations and anecdotes, this work includes proverbial sayings that Spurgeon comments upon and wisely directs their spiritual connections.

While the originals are typically hard to come across, this is an excellent antique edition containing all of the Salt-Cellar material.
