Spurgeon, C.H. - Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit reprints - Banner of Truth
Both Pilgrim Publications and Banner of Truth reprinted Spurgeon sermon volumes decades ago; Pilgrim ultimately reprinted the entire 63 volumes, while Banner printed only a portion—although theirs are arguably nicer volumes in a few areas.
These are exceptionally clean Banner volumes that are always hard to come across. Currently, the 1883, 1884, 1885, 1888, and 1890 volumes have an inscription/stamp on the front endpaper, and nothing else; the 1889 volume has no name on the endpaper but it does have very light, neat, underlining on just 1 sermon that we noticed. Other than that all volumes are clear and notably crisp for their age, with only very light wear marks to the boards appropriate with their age. While these have no dustjackets, don’t hesitate to pick these up, as you’re sure to be pleased.
