Charles Spurgeon was a master of illustration and relational preaching in his day. Part of his success was due to his note-taking and collecting of worthy tidbits that were applicable to Christian spirituality, and his ability to relate the world around the believer to make much sense out of simple things.
The illustrations and ‘ammunition’ included in this volume, just like in the preceding volume—Feathers for Arrows—are a wonderful collection of relevant and biblical content that the Christian is sure to glean from.
Note: Of the two volumes, Barbed Arrows is undoubtedly the more difficult antique copy to acquire.

CONDITION
Book is in Very Good + condition, particularly for its age. Binding and spine are in superb shape. Names/nameplate are on front endpaper, and a single page was noticed with a pair of lines marked in the margins, but exceptionally clean other than that.
