Rare 3-Volume Moody 1877 Sermon book set

Of all the people Charles Spurgeon came to be close friends with in later life, Dwight L. Moody became one of his dearest. These 3 editions printed in 1877 are sermons/excerpts from Moody’s events in New York, Chicago, and Boston, respectively.

Moody, born and died in Massachusetts (1837—1899), was an American contemporary of Spurgeon’s, and became one of the most well-known and influential preachers in his era (and beyond). He is one of the fundamental figures of revivalism in the United States, and his evangelical establishments still exist to this day. When Charles Spurgeon died, his deep friendship was made known when he bequeathed his personal bible to Moody.
