Bunyan, John - The Select Works of John Bunyan (c. 1880's)
An excellent volume of the greater of John Bunyan. In large part, these are what we would consider the “essential” works of his. Bound in a large, beautiful mustard-like cloth board, this edition would be a welcomed volume in any theological library. This William Collins, Sons, and Co. printing is from the 1880’s—as accurately as we can date it; later 1900’s printings did not contain this printer mark, among other things, so we are quite confident in this dating.
The works contained are:
—The Pilgrim’s Progress, Parts I & II.
—The Holy War
—Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners
—The Jerusalem Sinner Saved
—Come and Welcome to Jesus Christ
—The Saints’ Privilege and Profit
—The Water of Life
—The Barren Fig-Tree
—Bunyan’s Last Sermon

If we didn’t have a full set of Bunyan’s works, we would desire a volume just like this.
